Strategy & Operations Analyst
The Company: Lightyear builds software that is revolutionizing the telecom management experience for hundreds of enterprises. Lightyear’s platform helps enterprise IT teams automate telecom procurement, network inventory management, telecom bill payment, and much more, and is utilized by companies including Honeywell, Alo Yoga, Palo Alto Networks, and Louis Vuitton. Lightyear has raised nearly $50M from the first investors in Roblox, Discord, Coupang, Robinhood, and Flexport.
The Position: As a S&O Analyst, you will help define and execute the core strategy + processes supporting our SaaS products (Network Inventory and Bill Consolidation). We’re looking for a driven, product-oriented individual who is passionate about building customer relationships and delivering best in class experiences to our users. In this role, you will report to our Strategy and Operations Associate who leads Bill Consolidation and work closely with sales and product as well.
This position will be full-time and fully remote. Cash compensation range will be between $110,000 - $125,000 and include equity as well (compensation package specifics to be determined by experience and fit).
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own process to support and scale Lightyear’s Bill Consolidation product including customer onboarding, ongoing operations, reporting, and financial structure
- Provide guidance and recommendations on platform configurations to achieve customer use case and business process needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Engineering, & Sales, and orchestrate resourcing across each to deliver Lightyear software
- Work closely with product team to synthesize customer feedback and drive new product features
- Manage junior members of the team to execute relevant activities & hit key metrics
Ideal Qualifications
- 1+ years experience post undergrad as a consultant or investment banker
- High degree of comfort with structuring and solving ambiguous problems & communicating solutions efficiently to all stakeholders
- Strong organization and people management skills / EQ, including setting KPIs, holding others accountable for performance, and influencing internal/external parties to achieve particular outcomes on short timelines
- Capability in data processing, analysis, and visualization (Excel experience a must, SQL is a strong nice to have)
- Bonus if located in NYC (Hiring Manager and Head of Operations are based in NYC)
