Strategy and Operations Associate
The Company: Lightyear builds software that is revolutionizing the telecom management experience for hundreds of enterprises. Lightyear’s platform helps enterprise IT teams automate telecom procurement, network inventory management, telecom bill payment, and much more, and is utilized by companies including Honeywell, Alo Yoga, Palo Alto Networks, and Louis Vuitton. Lightyear has raised nearly $50M from the first investors in Roblox, Discord, Coupang, Robinhood, and Flexport.
The Position: As the Network Inventory Operations Lead, you will help define and execute the core strategy + processes supporting our SaaS products (Network Inventory and Bill Consolidation). We’re looking for a driven, product-oriented individual who is passionate about building customer relationships and delivering best in class experiences to our users. In this role, you will report to our Head of Operations and work closely with sales and product leadership as well.
This position will be full-time and salaried with top-tier cash and equity compensation (compensation package determined by experience and fit). The base salary range for this position will depend on experience but ideally range from $115-130k.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own strategy & process to support and scale Lightyear’s Network Inventory product including onboarding, ongoing operations, & reporting
- Provide guidance and recommendations on platform configurations to achieve customer use case and business process needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Engineering, & Sales, and orchestrate resourcing across each to deliver Lightyear software
- Work closely with product leadership to synthesize customer feedback and drive new product features
- Define and track team and individual KPIs to ensure continuous improvement
- Manage junior members of the team to execute relevant activities & hit key metrics
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a management consultant or investment banker or 2+ years of product operations role at consumer or enterprise software co
- High degree of comfort with structuring and solving ambiguous problems & communicating solutions efficiently to all stakeholders
- Strong organization and people management skills / EQ, including setting KPIs, holding others accountable for performance, and influencing internal/external parties to achieve particular outcomes on short timelines
- Capability in data processing, analysis, and visualization (Excel experience a must, SQL is a strong nice to have)
- Bonus if located in NYC (Head of Operations is based in NY)
